Gingerbeerd: Fermented Ginger Beer Packaging.

Fun, colourful branding project for indie brewers Gingerbeerd. Gingerbeerd bottles a carbonated fermented ginger beverage brewed in Ottawa, Ontario, sold online and locally.

The client was interested in creating a warm and friendly mascot for their new brand around which the design for the bottle label, packaging, branding and social media evolved. It was important to create an enticing and playful theme while following all Canadian Food Inspection Agency standards for food labelling.

The mascot and branding had to be suitable for print, packaging, and digital marketing. Inspiration came from early European world maps from the medieval and renaissance eras: Full of sea monsters and wonder.
